Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Camellia Cleaning Service LLC! By engaging our cleaning services, you agree to comply with, and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Services Provided

 

1.1 Scope of Services  

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC provides residential cleaning services, including but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, and other general household cleaning tasks as specified in the service agreement or work order. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff can only use a 2 step ladder and a 6 ft. extendable duster to reach high areas. Any areas of the home above this reach cannot be cleaned. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff can clean interior windows with the 2-step ladder reach. Any windows higher than a 2 step ladder reach CANNOT be cleaned by our staff. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC does not provide exterior window cleaning, carpet & upholstery shampooing, or oven cleaning. Please check our business partner list for professionals in these areas. 

 

1.2 Customization  

Specific cleaning tasks may be customized based on client needs and agreed upon in advance. Any changes to the agreed services must be communicated and approved before the service date.

 

1.3 Service Hours 

Services are generally provided during the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Weekend, or holiday services may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.

 

2. Booking and Scheduling

 

2.1 Appointments 

Clients must book services in advance by contacting Camellia Cleaning Service LLC via phone, email, or the company’s online booking form. Appointments are subject to availability.

 

2.2 Waitlist

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC has a first come, first serve waitlist. The waitlist will be used first by numerical order, second by geographical region, and third by size of the potential clients home/business. Potential clients will be given 48 hours to respond before the next potential client is given the opportunity. 

 

2.3  Cancellations and Rescheduling  

Clients must provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of service amount.

 

2.4 Access to Property  

Clients must ensure that Camellia Cleaning Service LLC has access to the property at the scheduled service time. If access is not available and the service cannot be completed, the client may be charged a no-access fee of $50. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC will provide a lock box to clients who want to use a key. Alternate forms of home access that are permissible include garage codes, and door codes. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC is not responsible for the storage of clients keys, or garage door openers. 

 

3. Payment Terms

 

3.1 Rates and Fees  

Service rates will be provided at the time of booking and may vary based on the scope of services and location. All rates are subject to change, and clients will be informed of any changes before their next service.

 

3.2 Payment Method  

Payments are due before completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC accepts payment by credit card and debit card via online payment through emailed invoicing. A card must be kept on file. If payment is not received before the cleaning, Camellia Cleaning Service LLC will charge the card on file for services rendered.

 

3.3 Late Payments  

Payments not received before the completion of service will be considered late and may incur a late fee of $50. Continued late payments may result in suspension of services.

 

4. Client Responsibilities

 

4.1 Home Environment  

Clients are responsible for ensuring that their home environment is safe for Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff to perform cleaning services. This includes removing hazards, picking up and decluttering spaces being cleaned, securing pets, and providing clear instructions for any special care required for furniture or other belongings.

 

4.2 Staying vs. Leaving 

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC prefers clients to NOT be inside their home when services are being rendered. If you are home please be mindful of staff cleaning and leave the rooms they are in. This is because of safety concerns and time management. Safety concerns can include wet floors (slip hazard), vacuum cords (trip hazard), chemicals (chemical compliance training), and much more.

 

4.3 Dishes

Clients are responsible for the cleaning and removal of all dishes from the sink and surrounding areas. If the dishes are blocking access to the sink or are overflowing on counters, Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff reserve the right to not clean the sink or surrounding areas.

 

4.4 Laundry

Clients are responsible for picking up, cleaning, and storage of all laundry. If excess laundry is blocking access to areas of the home, Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff reserve the right to not clean these areas.

 

4.5 Drugs, Firearms, & Illegal Paraphernalia 

Clients should secure or remove any drugs, firearms and illegal paraphernalia from areas to be cleaned by Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff. If drugs, firearms or illegal paraphernalia are found, Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff reserve the right to not clean this room entirely. 

 

4.6 Pre-Clean Pick-up & Decluttering

Client spaces should be picked up and decluttered so that Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff can clean the spaces properly. If staff have to pick up and declutter it will take away from the time spent cleaning. If pick-up and decluttering is needed, a price and scope of work revision will be needed of your cleaning proposal.

 

4.7 70% Clutter Rule

If a surface is 70% covered with clutter/objects, Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff reserve the right to not clean those surfaces/spaces.

 

4.8 Valuables  

Clients should secure or remove any valuables, money, important documents and fragile items from areas to be cleaned. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC is not responsible for the loss or damage of valuables that were not secured or disclosed prior to the service.

 

4.9 Pets

Clients are responsible for securing their pets and picking up their waste. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff are not responsible for pet care in any capacity (for example: letting the pet out, walking, feeding, scooping litter boxes). Camellia Cleaning Service LLC staff CANNOT pick up and clean pet urine, feces and cat litter, and it will be cleaned around. 

 

4.10 Home fixtures (for example: chandeliers, ceiling fans, and window treatments) 

If properly installed, fixtures will not fall from cleaning. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC is not responsible for the damage of fixtures that were not secured prior to the service.

 

4.11 Feedback and Complaints  

Clients are encouraged to provide feedback on the services provided. Any complaints or concerns should be communicated within 12 hours of service completion to allow Camellia Cleaning Service LLC to address them promptly.

 

5. Liability and Insurance

 

5.1 Damage 

While Camellia Cleaning Service LLC takes care to provide high-quality services, accidents may occur. In the event of damage caused by our staff, clients must report the issue within 12 hours of service. Camellia Cleaning Service LLC will assess the situation and may, at its discretion, repair or replace damaged items or compensate the client.

 

5.2 Insurance Coverage  

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC carries liability insurance to cover potential damages or injuries that occur during the provision of services. A copy of the insurance policy is available upon request. 

 

5.3 Limitations of Liability  

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to provide a safe environment or to communicate special instructions for care of items or areas in the home.


 

6. Termination of Services

 

6.1 Termination by Client  

Clients may terminate services at any time by providing 14 days written notice. Any prepaid services not yet rendered will be refunded, minus any applicable cancellation fees.

 

6.2 Termination by Camellia Cleaning Service LLC  

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC reserves the right to terminate services at its discretion, including but not limited to non-payment, repeated cancellations, or unsafe working conditions. Any pre-paid amounts for services not yet rendered will be refunded.

 

7. Non-Solicitation Clause

 

7.1 Non-Solicitation of Employees

The Client agrees that during the term of this Agreement and for a period of 12 months following the termination or expiration of this Agreement, the Client will not directly or indirectly solicit, hire, or attempt to solicit or hire any employee or contractor of Camellia Cleaning Service LLC who has been involved in providing services under this Agreement, without the prior written consent of Camellia Cleaning Service LLC.

 

7.2  Non-Solicitation of Clients

The Client agrees not to solicit, entice, or encourage any other clients or potential clients of Camellia Cleaning Service LLC to terminate or reduce their relationship with Camellia Cleaning Service LLC for a period of 12 months following the termination or expiration of this Agreement.

 

7.3  Remedies

The Client acknowledges that any breach of this non-solicitation clause may result in substantial and irreparable damage to Camellia Cleaning Service LLC. Therefore, the Client agrees that Camellia Cleaning Service LLC shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief and any other appropriate legal remedies to prevent or remedy such breach.

 

7.4 Severability

If any provision of this non-solicitation clause is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

7.5 Governing Law

This non-solicitation clause shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Louisiana, without regard to its conflicts of laws principles.

 

8. Privacy Policy

 

8.1 Confidentiality 

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC respects the privacy of its clients. Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing services and will not be shared with third parties without client consent, except as required by law.

 

8.2 Data Security  

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC takes appropriate measures to protect the security of client data, including the use of secure payment systems and data encryption where applicable.

 

9. Social Media and Marketing Consent 

 

9.1 By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you (the Client) grant Camellia Cleaning Service LLC the right to take photographs or videos of the work performed at your property. These images may be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to, social media platforms, websites, brochures, and other promotional materials.

 

9.2 Use of Images

The images will be used solely to demonstrate the quality of our services, showcase our team’s work, or provide informative content related to our services. At no time will we disclose specific client information, addresses, or other identifying details without prior written consent.

 

9.3 Opt-Out 

If you do not wish to have images of your property used in this manner, please notify us in writing before the service is rendered. You can opt-out at any time by contacting us at marketingcamelliacleaning@gmail.com.

 

9.4 No Compensation 

You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation for the use of such images or videos and that all rights to these materials belong exclusively to Camellia Cleaning Service LLC.

 

9.5 Privacy Assurance 

We respect your privacy. Any content shared will be limited to the scope of our services and will avoid revealing personal details or information that could identify the client without explicit consent.

 

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

 

10.1 Modifications  

Camellia Cleaning Service LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes before their next scheduled service. Continued use of services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

 

11. Governing Law

 

11.1 Jurisdiction  

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Louisiana.

 

12. Acceptance of Terms

 

By booking and using the services of Camellia Cleaning Service LLC, clients agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at ‪(504) 407-1120‬.
